The Sewage Treatment Department, with assistance from the IT department, is developing a mobile app for its pump operators, engineers and plant managers to better manage operations at sewage treatment plants across the city. The app has the following features -
- Enable plant managers to view the overall state of a plant, including all sections, the components thereof, and various operational parameters for each component, including data about breakdown and preventive maintenance.
- Enable pump operators to update data about components in various sections of the plant.
- Enable the Head of the Department to view consolidated operational data and maintenance data for each and every plant in the city, at the section and the component level.
- Enable plant managers and the HoD to assign components and sections to pump engineers.
- Enable citizens to view static data about Sewage Treatment Plants across the city.
